WHAT IS TECC?
Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) is the civilian standard for treating life‑threatening injuries in dynamic, high‑risk environments. Adapted from the military’s TCCC guidelines, TECC provides a structured, phase‑based approach to trauma care during active threats, complex emergencies, and rapidly evolving incidents.
TECC is used nationwide by law enforcement, fire/EMS, emergency management, private security, and public‑safety organizations to improve survivability when seconds matter and conditions are unstable.
